Arnaud Vaissié is co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of International SOS.
After graduating from the prestigious Institute of Political Science of Paris (IEP Paris), Arnaud began his business career as a Financial Executive in France and then in the USA as head of Compass Inc. in San Francisco.
Arnaud co-founded AEA International in 1985 when he accepted the challenge of launching a new business in Asia. AEA International initially offered emergency medical services in South East Asia, servicing multi-national corporations as well as tourists. The company subsequently enjoyed rapid growth in Asia, the United States and in Europe.
In July 1998, AEA International acquired International SOS Assistance and the group was renamed International SOS.
Arnaud is President of the French Foreign Trade Council for the United Kingdom and has recently organized a think-tank, 'le Cercle d'Outre-Manche', to look at competitive issues among E.U. members. Arnaud also lived in Singapore for 13 years and served as Vice President of the Alliance Française and Director of the French Business Center in Singapore. In 1997, Arnaud was awarded Knight of the National Order of Merit by the President of the Republic of France. |
